About the training
Solar energy has become one of the most important phenomena of the XXI century. Nowadays solar technology is widely used not only by industries, but by households too.
The program aims at introducing the solar technology to trainees, mainly the photovoltaic (PV) systems used to generate electricity from the sun light. After a brief viewing of different types of PV systems, a detailed description its components will be shown and the characteristics of each component as well as the selection criteria among products available in the market will be studied. Field visits to workshops for installing solar energy systems will be organized.
